AI-powered planning poker, retrospectives and standups for agile teams

Estimioo is a lightweight, browser-based agile-ceremony tool that bundles AI-assisted planning poker and a 42-format sprint retrospective board into one shared workspace. Estimation is still the centre of gravity, but the retro board caught up in September 2026: optional Writing → Voting → Discuss phases with a shared timer, anonymous sessions or single anonymous cards, host-led card grouping, a 3–10 vote budget, action-item owners, and a carry-over banner fed by the host's personal action tracker. A Claude-powered summary returns team mood, key themes and ranked action items. What it still lacks is blind brainstorming, recurring retros, health-check trends and any retro export beyond a clipboard recap.

Lucidspark

6.5

Lucid Software's whiteboard with the Lucid AI assistant and tight Lucidchart integration — voting, timers and facilitator tools start at the Team tier

Lucidspark is the whiteboard product from Lucid Software (makers of Lucidchart) — an infinite canvas with sticky notes, private-mode brainstorming, anonymous voting sessions, timers, the Lucid AI assistant (prompt-to-board, magic sort, board summaries) and bidirectional sync with Lucidchart for diagrams. Free and Individual get static dot voting only; the timer, private voting and facilitator tools start at the Team tier, and starting a private-mode session, Breakout Boards and the Lucid Cards sync to Jira/Azure DevOps/monday.com are Enterprise-only. Strong enterprise posture inherited from Lucid: SSO/SAML, SCIM, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001/27701/42001, FedRAMP Moderate, IRAP PROTECTED, GDPR, and US/EU/AU data residency.

Summary

Estimioo scores 4.8 overall and is best for small, distributed agile teams who want AI-assisted planning poker and a capable 42-format retro board in one workspace for a flat $7 a month — and who can live without blind brainstorming, recurring retros, health-check trends or real Slack, Teams and retro-side Jira integrations. It offers a free tier.

Lucidspark scores 6.5 overall and is best for engineering and PM teams already on Lucidchart who want sticky-note retros and brainstorming on the same platform — and whose security review favours a SOC 2 / ISO 27001 vendor. It offers a free tier.

Estimioo leads on ease of use, retro toolkit and value. Lucidspark leads on fun factor, AI & insights, integrations, open platform and enterprise-grade.

Across our eight scoring dimensions, Lucidspark edges ahead with an overall score of 6.5. That said, the right pick depends on your team — see the dimension-by-dimension breakdown below.

Estimioo — pros

 • + Genuinely cheap — flat $7/workspace/mo with unlimited participants, plus a usable free tier; guests join by link or QR with no signup, in five UI languages
 • + A real facilitation flow: optional Writing → Voting → Discuss phases with a done-writing signal, host-led card grouping, a 3–10 vote budget and owners on action items
 • + Anonymous sessions (or a single anonymous card on a named board), and open actions from earlier retros resurface as a banner when the host starts the next one
 • + Unusually fun for the price: 340+ synced icebreakers, twelve ambient and music tracks, emoji reactions on cards and an in-session chat with GIFs
 • + One-click Claude retro summary returns team mood, key themes and ranked action items with Add all to board

Estimioo — cons

 • − No blind brainstorm — cards appear to everyone as they're written, so the retro page's write first, discuss second pitch rests on the facilitator, not the tool
 • − Follow-through belongs to the host, not the team: carry-over runs through a personal action tracker, nothing recurs or can be scheduled, and Team Radar scores don't trend across retros
 • − Thin integrations: Slack and Teams are copy-to-clipboard buttons, Jira is planning-poker only, Linear is still "on the way", and a retro exports nothing but a pasted recap — no API, webhooks or MCP
 • − No SOC 2, ISO 27001, DPA or data-residency option, and while Enterprise lists SSO, the shipped sign-in offers only Google and email
 • − Social proof is entirely unattributed — 450+ teams, a 4.8 rating and a logo wall naming Accenture, Deloitte, Thoughtworks and Xero, with no G2, Capterra or Product Hunt listing to corroborate any of it

Lucidspark — pros

 • + Tight integration with Lucidchart — switch between diagram and whiteboard on the same canvas
 • + Engagement basics on every plan, free included — emoji reactions on notes, Giphy search and a free icebreaker template library; from Team the timer can play music for the whole board
 • + Strong enterprise posture: SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001/27701/42001, FedRAMP Moderate, IRAP PROTECTED, PCI DSS, GDPR, SSO/SAML, SCIM, US/EU/AU data residency
 • + Official Lucid MCP server is GA on every plan and shipping monthly — search boards, summarise them, generate synced Jira cards from Claude or ChatGPT
 • + Lucid AI (AI sort, summaries, prompt-to-board and a chat assistant) is unmetered on every tier today, free plan included

Lucidspark — cons

 • − Timer, private voting and facilitator tools start at the $10/user Team tier — Free and Individual get static dot voting and nothing else facilitator-shaped
 • − Starting a private-mode (blind brainstorm) session, Breakout Boards and the Lucid Cards sync to Jira, Azure DevOps and monday.com are Enterprise-only; audit logs need the paid Enterprise Shield add-on on top
 • − No health checks, recurring retros, action carryover or cross-team rollup
 • − AI is general brainstorming/summarising, not retro-aware — no sentiment, action-item extraction or trend insight across retros
 • − Retro template depth trails Miro and Mural; the REST API needs a Team or Enterprise account and there are no outbound webhooks
